Baroque ensemble music, added in 2021, is our Early Music Youth Academy's newest offering. String students borrow real Baroque bows so that they can discover the lively articulations that bring seventeenth- and eighteenth-century music to life. Piano students may be able to join as harpsichordists, and wind students with early-instrument lessons are welcome too! Vocal soloists may join for some special projects. Professional guest artists round out most ensembles, giving students the experience of being embedded in the historical-performance sound world.
