Be part of SHAK's theater programs, day camps, and Early Music Youth Academy

Support our 2019-20 season!

"We play in cities all over the place, and there isn't a program like this anywhere else," said Baltimore Consort musician Larry Lipkis after hearing SHAK's Early Music Youth Academy in action. It's thanks to you that Seattle Historical Arts for Kids is able to continue creating our programming -- and it's true, we don't know of any other group in the US or globally doing the work we do! Your gift gives students the one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn from and perform with experts in the field of historical performance.

Participant tuition pays less than half of the overall cost of our programs. Your support is crucial in continuing our annual theater project, our year-round Early Music Youth Academy, and other programs including the children's historical-arts day camp program that was SHAK's point of origin more than a decade ago.

Please join us! Thank you for being part of our community.

You can also give safely through our page on our fiscal sponsor's website!

Highlights from 2016-17

The Early Music Youth Academy opened for a concert by the Baltimore Consort in April on the stage of the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall. We presented two performances of our adaptation of Handel's Serse. And in the spring we returned to SHAK's roots by re-starting our historical arts camps for children!
