Join us to enjoy our FOURTEENTH summer performing at Camlann Medieval Village! Skilled SHAK students in period costume offer half-hour performances throughout the afternoon at this living-history village, open 12-5pm. This venue and SHAK’s performances are appropriate for ALL ages, including grownup fans of historical performance. JULY 25-26: 

Teen alumni singers with faculty artist Bill McJohn (harp, voice), and SHAK founder Shulamit Kleinerman (vielle, harp, percussion)

Vocal harmonies from medieval England, Spain, & France. Three half-hour performances in the Glen both days at 1pm, 2:30, and 4:30. Between our sets, enjoy craft demonstrations, food, and performances by other entertainers.

AUGUST 22-23: 

Students ages 7 to 16 with faculty artist Nick Chrisman (alumnus '21; vielle, voice, and percussion) and SHAK founder Shulamit Kleinerman (vielle, harp, and percussion)

Engaging medieval songs and dramatic tales from the 12th-14th centuries, with an emphasis on beauty and humor. Accompaniment on musical instruments of the time is by faculty artists and skilled student performers (recorder, vielle, percussion). Drama is directed by Carmen Mettler. Four half-hour performances in the Glen both days (times TBA). Between our sets, enjoy craft demonstrations, food, and performances by other entertainers.
