Early Music Youth Academy: Vivaldi Concerto and More

Join the Early Music Youth Academy for a festive program of delights from the Italian Baroque era. Baroque bassoonist and graduating senior Rylie Patching celebrates with Vivaldi's bassoon concerto RV 498. Skilled students in middle and high school grades play Baroque violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord, joined by alumni guest artists Nick Chrisman (Baroque cello and viola da gamba) and Ian Kitchen (Baroque cello). Directed by SHAK founder Shulamit Kleinerman with a special appearance by Rylie's teacher, Anna Marsh (Baroque bassoon), the program includes chamber music by Giovanni Bassano, Domenico Gabrielli, Salamone Rossi, Arcangelo Corelli, and Georg Philipp Telemann. 

There is no admission charge. Optional free-will donations at the door to help offset the cost of the event are gratefully accepted. The venue is ADA accessible. There is on-street parking along with a few spots in the lot at the building's north end.
