Discover Seattle Historical Arts in this free, festive, drop-in afternoon event for kids, teens, and adults! Groups of students aged 7-17 in our performing programs present short performances throughout the afternoon, demonstrating instrumental music, songs, and drama of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras, and even historical fencing. In between the presentations, guests can visit our historical portrait selfie station, try musical instruments such as the harpsichord and viola da gamba, and use the art table. The afternoon's offerings are especially geared toward students in elementary through high school grades.

The event is free. Every half hour includes performances of both music and drama or movement. A visit of 60-90 minutes is the best way to enjoy the full scope of programs by both high school students and younger performers.

LOCATION: The Community Hall at the Phinney Neighborhood Center can be reached via the Lower parking lot at the Phinney Center, or by the direct entrance on the Dayton Ave side between 66th and 67th Ave NW, which is ADA accessible.
